December 18 was a very busy day at MHS. The day started with all of the Junior High Students participating in a skating party. The student council supplied doughnuts and hot chocolate. This was followed up by a school concert where each of the four school bands and the school choir performed. At the end, the students were given an orange and chocolate milk. Hope everyone had a great day and a better Christmas Holliday. (view photos)

MHS's Health Committee was pleased to host a Turkey Run/Walk. The Health Committee is trying to promote at least on activity each month this year. Thanksgiving this year was about the same time as the Terry Fox run so the committee decided to host a Turkey Run/Walk in November instead of October. Thanks goes out to the School Council for their help with the event. Darryl Christensen a Vice Principal at MHS heads up the health committee. (view photos)

On November 19 MHS held it pep rally for the volleyball teams just before the Zone Volleyball. (view photos)

MHS and MES were excited to work together on putting together our schools Remembrance Day celebration. A number of student groups were able to perform. (view photos)

On October 2 MHS held its 2008/2009 annual awards assembly. There were over 160 students receive either Honors or High Honors awards. Congratulations go out to all of the award winners. Some students were missing from the pictures do to being away at a volleyball tournament. (view photos)
