Junior High Badminton

Magrath Junior High did very well at the Westwind School Divsion Badminton playoffs over the yesterday.
Claiming top spot and the gold medal were Shelby Broadhead (Gr 9 Girls Singles) and the duo of Gage Beck and Austin Bennett (Gr 7 Boys Doubles). In Gr 7 Mixed Doubles Morgan Broadhead and Kassi Bogdan also won their division.
Finishing second on the day were Matt Noad (Gr 8 Boys Singles), Dawson Strate and Madison Lowry (Gr 8 Mixed Doubles) and Derek Strate and Scott Gieske (Gr 8 Boys doubles).
Third place was won by Tim McMahon (Gr 7 Boys Singles), Alyssa Doig and Nick Perks (Gr 7 Mixed Doubles), Carter Hansen and Austin Steeves (Gr 7 Boys Doubles) and Kenzi Beres and Amber Low (Gr 9 Girls Doubles).
