Biography

I am very excited to be teaching in Magrath this school year. I will be teaching Language Arts 7, 8 and 9, which I believe will give me a great opportunity to get to know the Junior High Students in Magrath. I will also be involved at the school coaching both the grade 7 girl's basketball and volleyball teams.
I am a graduate from the University of Lethbridge, and before transferring to the Education Faculty I played basketball at Lethbridge College and Medicine Hat College. My last year at Lethbridge College I had the privilege of being the captain of a team that won the Alberta Championships and placed third in the National Championships.
I spend most of my time either teaching or coaching, but in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, running and reading. I also enjoy traveling and have been to a few amazing locations in the last few years.
I taught Grade 6 at Notre Dame Academy in Medicine Hat last year, and I look forward to continuing my teaching career in Magrath.
